Madeline Knapp, Pre-Licensed Professional
About Me
Over my 4 years of experience in mental health, my passion for helping people heal from trauma has only continued to grow. As someone who understands the impact of trauma both personally and professionally, I know how important it is to work with someone knowledgeable and to feel truly seen, accepted, and believed.
My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are - without fear of being dismissed, misunderstood, or feeling “too much” or “too sensitive.” I want to be someone in your corner, helping you explore, heal, and experience growth and resilience.
My Approach
I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to land in a world that can often feel overwhelming and insensitive. I take a genuine and human approach to therapy while also incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and insights from neuroscience. Together, we will explore your story with compassion and help you rebuild.
