Erika Tarjan, LMFT, CADC-I
About Me
I’ve been working as a mental health therapist for over 12 years, and in that time, I’ve been humbled by the strength of my clients and inspired by their ability to turn challenges into opportunities for growth. My approach blends irreverence and compassion, creating a space where you can feel safe exploring difficult issues while also finding moments of connection and relief.
I’m here to guide you toward uncovering your most authentic self. I also have extensive experience working with severe and persistent mental illness, helping individuals and couples navigate transitions, grief, and healing.
My Approach
As a compassionate and collaborative mental health therapist, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where trust can flourish. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples who feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges, whether navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or significant life transitions. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you feel supported in finding your unique path toward clarity, confidence, and self-acceptance.
With self-compassion at the heart of our work, we’ll explore your experiences with kindness and curiosity, recognizing that growth comes not from self-judgment but from understanding and care. Together, we’ll identify patterns, nurture a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and work toward meaningful change in your connections with others.
My goal is to support your journey toward healing, resilience, and a future filled with confidence and meaningful growth, empowering you with practical coping skills to feel more in control of your life.
